This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. Dipolar magnetization offers an interesting alternative contrast mechanism for MR. At high field, the Dipolar echoes can be larger than the primary spin echo. A goal of the Resource is to implement these sequences at 750-MHz and evaluate their utility. These sequences have been implemented on both the 600 and 750 MHz instruments (and 400 MHz at Nottingham), demonstrating non-linear behavior as high fields are reached. This has been made the research highlight above for Core 2. In short, these are the highest field MSEs yet examined. Additionally, we have been able to model the non-linear signal behavior at longer distance scales.

Publications
Publications are associated with projects, but cannot be identified with any particular year of the project or fiscal year of funding. This is due to the continuous and cumulative nature of knowledge generation across the life of a project and the sometimes long and variable publishing timeline. Similarly, for multi-component projects, publications are associated with the parent core project and not with individual sub-projects.
