Description
Abstract Text
The Human BioMolecular Atlas Program (HuBMAP) is developing a comprehensive baseline for normal
(healthy) tissue. This baseline will have great value, but only through comparison of complementary
datasets against it. We propose accelerating research to be based on the interoperation of HuBMAP data
with complementary datasets through a two-year Common Fund Data Ecosystem (CFDE) project. In this
project, HuBMAP will: 1) partner closely with the CFDE Coordinating Center (CFDE-CC) on CF-wide data
activities, and 2) engage in pilot projects with two other Data Coordination Centers (DCCs) – StimulatingPeripheralActivity to RelieveConditions (SPARC) and Gabriella Miller Kids First – to demonstrate the value
of establishing interoperability between appropriately chosen datasets.

Publications
Publications are associated with projects, but cannot be identified with any particular year of the project or fiscal year of funding. This is due to the continuous and cumulative nature of knowledge generation across the life of a project and the sometimes long and variable publishing timeline. Similarly, for multi-component projects, publications are associated with the parent core project and not with individual sub-projects.
